The theatre season organised by the National Museums of Matera – Regional Directorate of National Museums of Basilicata, in collaboration with the Ombre Cultural Association, continues with three performances, including one in Matera on 28 September at 5 p.m., of the show
‘LE TRAGICOMICHE, vita da eroi’ (The Tragicomical, Life as Heroes) by CREST/I Nuovi Scalzi.
The show offers the opportunity to immerse oneself in the world of ancient Greece, revisited with a modern and engaging interpretation. The comedy of the fliaci is intertwined with moments of deep reflection, inviting the audience to smile and think.
Themes such as power and responsibility: the weight of the decisions of the powerful and the consequences on the lives of others; love and desire: the passions that move men and women; dreams and aspirations; war and peace: the contradictions and costs of war, the yearning for peace and happiness.
