A new stop for Gusto Italia in Matera. From Wednesday 10 to Sunday 14 September, between Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Via Luigi La Vista, alongside the market of artisans and producers, a calendar of side events will come to life, which will also take place in some areas on the outskirts of the city.
Admission is free for all activities, from 10 a.m. to midnight. The event is dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of typical Italian products and traditional crafts, with a special focus on organic production.
The Associazione Italia Eventi, winner of the Matera City Council’s tender for markets and events, is behind the initiative, which is sponsored by the City Council and the UNOE (National Union of Event Organisers).
Gusto Italia also involves a number of local artists and associations, including the entertainer and educator Zio Ludovico, the MUV Association and the artists of Il castello dei sogni.
