The new local police station has been operating in the Sassi districts since 10 August. The office is located in Via Madonna delle Virtù, near Porta Pistola and is open from Monday to Saturday from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. The police station gathers complaints and claims from citizens and visitors and immediately refers them to the patrol officers on duty. The central police station works alongside the local polices officers who patrol the historic centre and the Sassi districts until one o’clock in the morning.
