Naturalistic site, Rock church, and Site of interest

The Madonna of Monte Verde has been dated to 1583. Its Renaissance-style façade was built in stone and has three small windows, an angel on its architrave and a small bell gable. The interior of the church is formed out of a natural rock shelter under which the remains of two altars and fragments of frescoes can be seen: a Madonna and Child on the first altar and a Crucifixion on the second. There are several fruit trees in the garden in front of the church, around which various natural shelters are located and were used as rock apiaries, which must have been the main economic activity of the past.
