– LA PRO LOCO della CITTA’ di MATERA tra STORIA CULTURA e TRADIZIONI si avvale nelle ATTIVITA NO LUCRO dei propri SOCI VOLONTARI che intendono operare attivamente per favorire lo sviluppo turistico, culturale, ambientale, sociale, storico antropologico, artistico del territorio del Comune di Matera e sue frazioni e favorire il miglioramento della vita sociale dei suoi residenti e visitatori da ogni dove.
– THE PRO LOCO of the CITY of MATERA between HISTORY, CULTURE and TRADITIONS makes use of its VOLUNTEER MEMBERS in its NON-PROFIT ACTIVITIES who intend to actively operate to promote the tourist, cultural, environmental, social, historical, anthropological and artistic development of the territory of the Municipality of Matera and its hamlets and encourage the improvement of the social life of its residents and visitors from everywhere.
-SVOLGE attività nel campo culturale-turistico con progetti ed iniziative rivolte a raccontare la vera essenza della vita vissuta dei materani, avvalendosi degli stessi soci e di simpatizzanti tra i quali RINOMATI STUDIOSI e CULTORI della STORIA di MATERA e della Basilicata.
– CARRY OUT activities in the cultural-tourism field with projects and initiatives aimed at telling the true essence of the life lived by the people of Matera, making use of the same members and supporters including RENOWNED SCHOLARS and CULVERS of the HISTORY of MATERA and Basilicata.
– La PRO LOCO della CITTA’ di MATERA tra STORIA CULTURA e TRADIZIONI è titolata in base alla legge regionale 7/2008, su concessione del comune di Matera, alla gestione degli IAT comunali (Informazione ed accoglienza al Turista);

– WE ORGANIZE EDUCATIONAL-CULTURAL WALKS aimed at schools at all levels;
– SOSTENIAMO GEMELLAGGI anche ISTITUZIONALI con ruolo anche di FACILITATORI nell’accoglienza dei visitatori ed attività collaterali per amministrazioni pubbliche, in particolare Enti locali;
– WE SUPPORT TWINNINGS, including INSTITUTIONAL ones, with the role of FACILITATORS in welcoming visitors and collateral activities for public administrations, in particular local authorities;
– ORGANIZZIAMO PASSEGGIATE CULTURALI riservate a ricercatori, studiosi, accademici, docenti università private e pubbliche, giornalisti specializzati, divulgatori e registi e quant’altro se del caso anche con il supporto di Guide Turistiche abilitate, anche in lingue, straniere garantendo la indubbia levatura culturale;
